Backstory

Sophia was born part of a political dynasty in Garlemald, the daughter of a diplomat and ambassador, whose parents were before him, stretching back several generations. As such she was raised in a rather privileged manner, though with the weight of historic duty pressed upon her.Every child born into her family is carefully groomed from youth to enter politics, given every advantage and lesson needed to become a perfect political leader, with their duty to the Motherland first and foremost in their minds. Some would resent the pressures, but Sophia flourished under it. Learning formal etiquette, dancing, manner of speaking, posture; everything that would be required by someone of her future station.When her father was made an ambassador to Kugane, she happily followed him, attending an elite private school and immersing herself in the local culture and customs, to better learn how to behave around the non-Garlean 'savages'. She grew confident in herself more and more as time went on, helping her father with his duties to better learn the ropes, until the Garlean recall came. Something was wrong with it, she knew the moment he forbade her go with him.All Sophia could do was read reports in horror as the Fall of Garlemald happened. Her family likely dead, her people scattered, the capital in ruins, ravaged by the final days. The single guard her father had forced to remain behind she ordered to escort her to the capital, and during that journey her heart truly broke to behold the ruins of all she'd known. Now, Sophia is aimless with no direction to push her ambition.

OOCly you can call me Sarto.I’m from the UK, so I usually keep EU times, but I also work shifts, including nights, so sometimes my timezone is a bit fucky. Because of this, I tend to prefer to RP over Discord, though I’m more than happy to find common times to meet up in-game.I’m over 21 and I’ll only write with people whom are likewise over 21.For RP I have four main rules. No IC/OOC bleed. Communication is King. No God-modding or controlling of one another’s character. Consent is also King (He and Communication are married and rule side by side happily)
I suffer from ADHD, Depression and Anxiety, which makes me feel like reaching out to people is pestering, and I can also be rather forgetful. On the other hand, I adore people reaching out to me and reminding me of things, so please know I’m always open and love to be approached.
